NALCO, in association with NALCO Mahila Samiti (NMS), organised a webinar for senior citizens on the theme ‘Common Bone Health Issues in Women’, held on 26th Aug, 2020. Reputed Doctors from Max Hospitals, Vaishali, Delhi, Dr. Hemant Gupta and Dr. Ravi Kant shared their experiences and advised the participants on dealing with the common issues that affects many people as they develop problems with bone as they age.
The topic was very timely and carefully chosen by Smt. Sasmita Patra, President, NMS, considering the apprehension of people to visit hospitals and healthcare facilities for consultation, due to the spread of coronavirus.
The invited experts Dr. Hemant Gupta & Dr. Ravi Kant of Max Hospitals, Vaishali, replied to various queries from the participants.
The session was particularly beneficial to the senior citizens, who are vulnerable to facing various problems related to bones as they age. All the members, who have attended the Webinar were enriched intellectually to effectively tackle the various health issues they are encountering in their daily lives.
